Painting Logo Design Case Study
Steve, owner of Adix Painting in Phoenix, needed a new look that matched his unique approach as a contract painter:
Steve believes in providing a full overall painting experience to his customers.
His customers have the opportunity to work hand-in-hand with him — painting their home, while learning the tricks of the trade. This unorthodox approach separates Adix from the hundreds of other painters in the valley. Steve has won several awards throughout Phoenix and the Southwest Region for his unique business model.
We wanted the new logo to reflect this educational aspects of his business. Steve has the heart of a teacher. It’s reflected in his business model and likely everything he does.
The new logo below has many subtle undertones that are associated with education, teaching and students.
At first glance you see the large ‘A’ that looks to be written on a chalk board. Then, moving on, you notice ADIX PAINTING written in apple red. Again, in a design text which has a handwritten “school-yard” feel. Combined all this with the bold background of a blue globe, makes this painter logo one that will not easily be confused with others in its industry.
